Hello all,

Are here Rov builders that have used the RC5 protocol as remote control system for a ROV ? ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RC-5 )
I have made some test, the TR led from the remote control extended via a cable from ca 75 meters, it looks that it work ok..
A receive board how many relays must it have ? and what functions ? on/off (pulse) on/hold/off on/time/off (delay off) any more idée’s?

Made a pcb for testing, seems to work ok, source is http://www.bitmonster.com/ir/ , from the remote I extend the IR led with some 75 meters cable ....made the remote with the help from a SAA3010 . But you can use a remote from Philips VCR ..
