Hi there.

I am planning to build an ROV as a third year electronic engineering individual project. Unfortunately I have been told that a simple 3-thruster version isn't "complicated" enough so I am planning to add a control system to maintain a constant level. I will be using a 3-axis accelerometer/gyro/magnetometer "thingy" (technical term) and 4 (or maybe 3 if I can think the maths through) vertically oriented bi-directional thrusters in addition to 4 horizontally oriented uni-directional thrusters.

Any and all advice gratefully received.

Cheers

Scott
