Homebuilt ROVs Forum

Hi Everyone,
I'm an ex-marine engineer based in South Africa looking to build my first ROV. I have no experience with ROV's but have a fair bit of experience with model engineering (steam), building RC flying models and have a good workshop. I have a son who is interested in robotics and figure that building a ROV would be a worthy project to do together. When it comes to ROV's I have lots of ignorance so will asking lots of questions.
