Just 2 weeks ago, I got into the ROV World.
See what it got me so far
ROV:
Not my own design, just my own handywork with the Sealion-2 as example.
BOM:
2 Raspberry PI's (one inside the ROV, one as a controller station)
1 Xbox360 controller (connected to the ROV controller)
1 Bitwizard I2C servo board (7 servo's can be fitted)
2 Logitech C510 webcam's (one converted to IR)
2 x 35w/12v LED spots
10 x IR LED (Led ring at backside, around IR Camera)
4 x Rule 1100 bilge pumps with Dual Way 320A Brushed ESC Speed Controller for 1/8 & 1/10 R/C Car / Boat from dx.
4 small servo's for Webcam movement
1 (old) ESC for light control
1 Openrov DEPTH/IMU sensor
1 IPhone lens set (1xFisheye on Front, 1xWide on backside)
Software:
Own build Client/Server UDP based ROV software
Client-side (Xbox controller, using jstest + UDP support)
python ms5803-read.py /dev/i2c-1 0x76 (for Depth Sensor, added UDP support)
RTIMULibDrive (for IMU, added UDP support)
Mjpg_streamer (for live video streams from webcams)
