Boat Blower thrusters?
Boat Blower thrusters?
i saw this thread from a while back, i was wondering if there was a way to make them water tight?
Re: Boat Blower thrusters?
Boat blowers are somewhat airtight, Designed to keep any flammable fumes away from the arcing of the motor brushes, but are not specifically designed to be water tight at depth.
Even with that said, you may want to run one submerged, the motors will run underwater totally wet. With the extra drag of the water the impeller is moving, how may amps would the motor draw, and is it over loading the rated motor amp draw. Water has a lot more resistance to flow then air does.
Let us know how your testing goes.
