Hi,
I'm using a usb webcam in my camera housing and was going to clip a second usb cable to go through the hole in the end, but the wres are so tiny, that i wouldn't be able to solder them back together again. Also the hole on the back is too small for the usb plug to pass through. andy ideas?
Thanks
ps, ive attached a really poorly drawn diagram showing what i kind of sort of was wanting.
for an actual picture of my camera housing go to viewtopic.php?f=18&t=938
there is all so a pdf of the assembly.

Have you considered using a USB A to USB Micro-B or Mini-B conversion cable? The Micro-B or Mini-B plugs are much more compact and could fit through a smaller hole.
