Looks like this is the place to introduce myself, so without further ado, hello!
As the Subject hints, I am the Technical/Application Support Manager for an International Robotics company by day, and an all around tinkerer (albeit a bit of a rookie) when I not working.
On the weekends, and every other spare day I can manage, I am a Scuba diver.
Originally, I am from Wisconsin, but I am currently living near London in the UK.
I recently had an epiphany, and realized, if I took on a project such as an ROV, I could merge all my hobbies into one neat little package, tied with a 100' bow!
I am planning on starting simple, and working up to a nice full function ROV. I am about a month into this project, and had no idea how much thought there is in these things! So much for thinking I was building a weekend toy!
Im sure you will see me making posts throughout the forum. Hopefully I ask all the right questions!
