Seasense bilge pumps?

I did a search of the forum and couldn't find any mention of anyone using them. Does anyone have any experience with them? I was tempted to cheap out and get them as the 1100 GPH cartridge is only $16 at iboats.com which is half the cost of any comparable pump motor. (1100 GPH Bilge Pump Replacement Cartridge - Seasense) Not to be confused with Seachoice.

the body of the cartridge looks fairly wide. that is the only potential issue I see.
