possible rov control

Hi i'm thinking of using a ps2 controller connected to a arduino that will control a sabertooth 2x12 and a syren 25a for my rov, but have no programming experience in the past.

I would be grateful if someone could come up with a code.

I believe there is ps2 controller code in the arduino playground.
