Long delay
These have pretty good thrust. A year after salt water test starts up just fine with no apparent corrosion. Nice for a n00b like me to have it all put together.

Well, they arrived and I have them hooked up to a pair of HobbyKing ESCs. New to RC, my biggest delay came from figuring out how modern ESCs work! 
Plan to drop them in the water this weekend on a simple PVC catamaran for a trial. Will report.

Waterproof Windlass/Winch?
For my intended application, I need to extend and retract up to 300 feet of wire or line, bearing about 5lb of payload at the end. This is, in my case, for a remotely deployable anchor. The question I have is whether anyone can recommend a windlass or winch setup that is waterproof for surface use o...
